Can someone, anyone, please tell me the name of the song from season 4, episode 8 (“Wooo”) where Robin tells Lily to listen to what the Woo Girls are really saying? It is not the part where Lynard Skynard plays, but near the end, with the subtitles. It is a dance song. I can’t find anything on it. I have tried Googling the lyrics (what I could make out) but to no avail. Please help!

This was my first guess too but it’s not. Listen carefully: They sound pretty much the same but they’re not. The bass line is a little bit different. Plus there’s no guitar in Rebellion’s intro, that’s clearly a piano playing the melody. I’m more and more convinced this song is an original score made for the episode. Thanks anyways.

Alright I watched the episode once again and realized we were note talking about the same song. You’re right: this song Lost and Found really is played but when Marshall finally finds the burger place at the end of the episode
My question was about the instrumental song played at the moment they think the found the place but it’s turned into an ATM machine (song starts around 16 minutes 27 seconds). Any clue? Thanks!

Sorry for the confusion. I’ve corrected the description. I’m fairly certain that everything else in the episode was scripted by the show composer Swihart

Jack,
The song that plays during Marshall and Lilly’s outside “real” wedding…..is “Love Song” by a band named Haunt; it is super hard to find. It is from their first album; “As Blue As Your Dying Eyes”. I cannot find it on their Myspace sight…I scoured local record stores for it but eventually bought it on Amazon. However it was totally worth it. If you are an Indie rock fan you will love it. I listened to it for 2 weeks before even getting into the rest of the cd.

I appreciate the help “Ted,” but i bought Laundry Shop on iTunes and it is definitely not the song that is played between that period of time. I just can’t make out enough of the lyrics because Ted and Robin are talking over it. Only able to catch some bits and pieces, it sounds like “Guardian angel…don’t let…don’t swear…the song that i would…” but when i try googling the bits and pieces I come up empty handed. Thanks for the season 1-4 help there, it seems there is also an 83 song playlist on iTunes.

Hi!
This is a really old question, but for 2.13 “Columns,” what is the actual song? I know that unless it’s an alternative version, it’s not “Whatever It Is.”

Sorry…I totally missed that. It’s Bob Seger’s song Night Moves. You can get it on his website but I don’t see that it’s available on iTunes or Amazon.

What song was on at the end of the 5/3/2010 episode with the twin size beds? The lyric before the commercial was “hook, line, and sinker”.

Does anyone know where I can find the song they play each time a doppelganger shows up? It’s a kind of tango! Or did the makers play it themselves?
I think it would sound really cool as a ringtone!

It’s the song listed for the episode. It’s by a band called Chop Chop and it’s called Play. For a while they were giving the song away if you followed them on twitter. Otherwise check the links for the song above to find where you can get it.

Hi, I have seen that a few people have asked about the Season 4 DVD Menu song. I also love it but can’t find it anywhere. It’s not “Eraser” by No Age as you have on the website currently. I had thought that it sounded similar to the song “Prophets” by AC Newman and so listened to the extracts of their other songs on Itunes but couldn’t find it.
If somebody could PLEASE find the Season 4 DVD Menu song I’d be eternally grateful!!!

I know it’s not Eraser however it’s the closest track I could find. My guess is it’s a tracked song inspired by Eraser. This happens a lot with HIMYM songs, a song will sound familiar but it’s only because the composer is using something close for their work.
On the other side of your question is this… I don’t own the dvd, only the blu-ray and I’m not sure they are all the same. If you want to rip me some audio samples I”ll be happy to look into it more though!
