I did tell Scott when I first heard Marshall tell Robin that she was going to marry Don that she was probably actually going to marry him. They love to do that type of foreshadowing, and one of my favorite things about the series is its' continuity throughout (even though they make some mistakes here and there, they mostly get it right). I think you might feel disconnected with Robin because we had so much of her pregnant and they are just starting to put her back into story lines. She kind of faded away for a while there, so now it feels like they are pushing the subject. Oh yeah and I totally agree with research9 that Carrie Underwood's appearance, while cute because she is, was completely extraneous. Yeah, the history of hot girl employment made the show for me.

Barney's history was funny, and I laughed really hard when Marshall caved to Scooter. Other than that I wasn't that impressed.
